I think I died.

Days of boredom have drained my inspiration and my will to blog. As if you didn't know that already. My blog is mainly filled with photos & some paragraphs about blah and blah. I'm not even writing about my views like I used to anymore.

I think the boredom bug ate me alive, but it left a very damaged me behind.


Sigh, this very bored me has even started playing Maple all over again and now my fingers are aching. I have not played games in forever..

I'm going to start playing other games. And I've tried L4D. It's cool! :D
Now, to find other games. I'm not going to play Dota. Nope. Never. My brother is addicted to it. It's eating his brain now. ):
It was seriously bad during December. He even played at 3am while I was sleeping. The computer is in my room by the way. I had trouble sleeping then. -.-
My eyebags.

And I'm learning the guitar all over again. I've gotten better. Better as in, I learnt more chords but I'm no good still. It sounds a little off. I guess there's something wrong with the tuning. Oh well, at least I'm trying my best.

Oh well, I did want a fresh start & since I know super few people there, it's a great time for a new start. (:

Life has its ups & downs.
Whatever it is, I'll have to believe in myself & get on with it. It won't hurt me anymore.

I survived today and I can hardly believe it. Not one drop of tear fell from my eyes & not once did I stop to think about it. Actually, I did stop to think about it & it hurt for a minute or two and that's when I realised that everybody else is probably going through it. Everybody who is like me.

February is the month. The month where I feel myself falling and sinking to the ground. It's painful but I know that after today, I'll be just fine.

22nd February. You'll be nothing more than just a memory.

What good is there for me to hold on to the past & still harp on it when there's countless possibilities out there for me? I just need to make that first move towards the life that I want to lead. I'm not afraid anymore and you're not going to stop me from living my life.

I realised it already. That without you, my life is already beautiful. I've got so many others just waiting for me to smile. So many others who love me as I am and I'm sorry for not being able to let you see the real me. The me, who was to scared to tell the world who she really was.

It doesn't matter now. I won't love you anymore. I found someone else to love the same way I used to love you. I found me & I'm going to love myself even more by treating myself right. I'm not going to put myself down anymore. I'm over that. Actually I'm not. I still want to slim down, but that's besides the point.

Point here is, I've moved on. Face it. I've moved on. (:

Hello!

This time I've got green nails & green eyes. My aunt painted my nails for me because I was over at my grandparents place yesterday. Green eyes are contact lenses of course. I'm trying to switch from blue to brown or green. Purple is actually a nice colour too but I would want to wear something more subtle. If were to get purple, I'll get Freshlook's. It's slightly more expensive compared to Freshkon but the colour blends in perfectly well. I'm currently trying out big eye lens which in my opinion, don't really work on me. There's not much difference plus the colour isn't really well blended but it's pretty..

Oh, the black pair I got from Geo makes my eyes bigger though. Slightly bigger, I guess it's due to the colour?
Currently, Geo lenses aren't quite safe & buying them from blogshops might result in eye infections because of cheap imitations. I've heard that the colour of some of the lenses have faded or run. So, be careful if you want to get Geo lenses or any lenses online. Always buy from a reputable blogshop or buy from the manufacturer itself.
An example of a reputable blogshop would be sglenses.
Or you could always get them from public figures. I got mine from Xuesha's spree..
Buying from the manufacturer is the safest actually. However, you have to get 500 pieces, which is 250 pairs. So if you want to get them, it's best to organize sprees between large group of friends. Afterall, why would you get 250 pairs for yourself? You only have a pair of eyes...

Oh I love Dueba lenses too! :D My first pair were Dueba lenses. But apparently, one side had a defect. So, my money flew away.

Still, if you want to get big eye lens, you can get them from optical shops. The green ones I'm wearing are from coolcolor. I got them at $65 from Lot 1 and you can wear it for 3 months.
If I'm not wrong some optical shops sell Bescon lenses too.
The price difference is quite huge but I think it's worth it because it's safer & if accidents happen, you can get medical compensation etc.


If you just want colour lenses. Don't need big eye lenses, try out Freshlook! It's 10 times better than Freshkon because the colour blends really well. I recommend Freshlook's sapphire & turqoise. The colours are pretty. Amethyst is nice too. The purple is really subtle.
Usually, when I wear Freshlook, I get compliments from people & usually they think that it's natural. Weird because I usually use blue.


Anyway, enough of contact lenses.

We never know when it may happen or when we might be forced to say goodbye. We never do. Death, it just happens. Sometimes, there are signs but sometimes... It takes away the ones we loved in an unexpected way. Accidents, suicide etc. Death is real.

A few days ago. Joyce, Charmaine & I were just talking about death & suicide. About how real it was because Joyce's friend recently passed on. We were commenting and discussing about it, sharing experiences about suicide & death.

And then. Today.
I found out that somebody I might have known... passed on.

Jordan Tan Jun Jie.


Jordan Tan Jun Jie is a student of Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology, Molecular Biotechnology. He is a year 2 student as well as a committee member for the LSCT GL's. He suffers from a condition known as thrombocytopenia, which is the cause for his low blood platelet count.

On the 10th of Febuary 2009, Jordan was at NP's Convention Center's basement preparing for a test. Jordan vomited out his lunch as well as a lot of blood, and eventually fainted before the paramedics arrived.
He was sent to NUH A&E, where doctors found a blood clot in his brain, but were unable to operate immediately because of his low blood platelet count.
After being in critical condition for almost 12 hours, a small operation was carried out to ease the blood pressure in his brain, which was mounting to a dangerous level.
He has been in a coma ever since, and doctors have certified him brain dead as of 12th Febuary 2009.

However, the masses of people who went to visit Jordan are still not giving up hope. They are still hoping and praying for Jordan, and they are constantly visiting him and folding paper cranes and stars at ward 21 in the hopes of him waking up.

I didn't know. I really didn't.

Perhaps, I may have met him & talked to him then. Perhaps, joked with him & laughed. Or maybe, I had introduced myself as ,"I FORGOT MY NAME" to him.

I wouldn't know. Would I? =/

And though I may not have really known you, may not have been close or anything. I still pray for you. Pray for your soul, pray for your family, pray for your friends.

You will be and already are dearly missed.

Rest in peace.



And to them, who knew him. I doubt he would want you to cry or feel hurt just because he left. He would probably want you to be strong, to move on & to remember him. He'll be watching from Heaven, guiding you slowly.
Let's pray for him and that his soul finds peace.

Best part. We found out that he threw away the medicine he was supposed to take.

Then. He has a fever & he said that the hospital very hot. No air-con, so can't get well.

Oh & since nobody at my grandparent's place is taking care of him. He called my mother this morning & guess what..
My mom nagged at him & scolded him.

My grandfather's leg is swollen due to cholestrol, then he say in hospital cannot poo, then he throw medicine away & he never tell the doctor what he eat that cause him to have stomach infection.
Then, for four days... In hospital. The doctor don't know that it was because of the shellfish.
So doctor gave him panadol. Duh. He had high fever.
Then after the doctor found out, doctor gave him proper medicine. He throw away.
Then the nurse kept on giving him but he went to SCOLD THE NURSE & CALLED THE DOCTOR STUPID!
WTH.
Then there's medication for him to poo but he say he don't want to poo. Then we were all like... If he doesn't poo then he won't get better.

WTH.

Escape from hospital. Awesome right. =/

Out with Joyce & Charmaine

You know. Ever since Red Camp ended, I've been feeling so lonely... Almost every day, I've been sitting & rotting at home. Everybody's either busy at work or busy with school and the poor jobless & awaiting poly life people like me are usually suffering. Thank goodness there's FACEBOOK to keep me company.

Oh & today's special because today... I went out with Charmaine & Joyce!

By the way Red Campers, if Joyce looks familiar to you... It's because she is a Vikings SL! ;D

Joyce, Charmaine & I haven't had a proper meet-up since December. Actually, this is our 2nd meet-up! Haha.

Anyway, this time round... All of us were early or on time today. It's a good thing really. Definitely a good thing because it means we can spend more time with eachother. And I think we really had quite a lot of fun! ;D

Dinner was at this restaurant, Shokudo which is very Marche-like. It's my first time dining at Shokudo & I really loved the food. The last time I dined at Marche was when I was 10? And I loved the atmosphere there because it was considered HEAVEN to me. Anything related to food is heaven. The choice of food was OH MY but actually, I went to Marche for crepe? Or was it waffles. Either one of them because I remember eating dessert. Oh, but I did remember looking at the large lobsters & seafood & craving for them. ;D

Anyway, Shokudo was about the same as Marche except... Shokudo serves JAPANESE FOOD! Oh & it's not just sushi, ramen, takoyaki & okonomiyaki.. There's stuff like pasta too! :D
Heck, I had baked rice & onigiri.. :D

The ONIGIRI IS HUGE! It costs $1.80 without GST & service charge. And it's 2 time's bigger than the normal onigiri's at NTUC. Next time, I come... If I want save money... I eat onigiri & drink miso soup. Save a lot because the onigiri is HUGE! Plus it's CHEAP!

Valentines Day is coming soon.
In fact, it's this coming Saturday which means it's only in a few days. I really don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. It's both ways really, depends on the person.
I've always thought of Valentines Day as the day Cupid starts shooting arrows through people's hearts and I always thought that it was sweet. However, I've started growing up and sometimes I think the whole idea of Valentines Day is a bit too... SILLY.

Maybe it's because I don't have a date this year.

But still, I have a HUGE love/hate relationship with Valentines Day & I really don't think it's because I'm single. I actually like being single. So free to fly around. (:

Then again, most of the skins that I use happen to be really simple and idiot-proof. I like simple skins! They make me smile and it's really easy to read. Anyway, I do hope you don't mind the darkness of the skin. I've been using lots of lighter colours for the past few months and I really prefer using them but I think I'm in need of a HUGE change! Therefore, the black. I like black too, just that it isn't that obvious.

Oh yes. My lenses arrived today but my dad told me to throw them & get new ones. D:

Anyway, went to the hospital again today. My grandfather's leg is still swollen & it's really bad. He can't even walk properly and he is so stubborn! When sleeping, he purposely remove the drip. -.-''' And today, we couldn't even find an extra shirt for him because he's really huge. Obese can. Well, it seems like he lost weight. He complains that he can't sleep. Then again, how to sleep. The nurses have to constantly check him & that drip & blah blah blah. Headache. I really respect nurses man! I salute! I can't go into this kinda line. I am not patient enough. I'm shouting at my mother so much these few days. ): I have a really weird family.

Why am I saying such scary things about me being hospitalized and such?

Well, you never know if you're going to be sick one day...


These thoughts lingered in my head throughout the entire bus ride home this evening.
I've been thinking about how I might get into an accident, slip into a coma or may even have some rare disease. You never know, fate is cruel.

This all started on Friday morning after World War 3. My grandfather called my dad & said, "Adil. Bapa tak boleh tahan lagi. Panggil ambulans."
It means, "Adil. Father can't take it anymore. Call the ambulance."
So my dad, being the ever filial son-in-law called the ambulance, went over to my grandparent's place & accompanied him to SGH.

If you want to know, my grandfather has been sick since Tuesday. Well, we got to know about it since Tuesday and my family had just visited him on Thursday evening. He claimed that he felt better but I guess not.

I had planned to go job-hunting on Friday afternoon but after hearing what my mom said, I decided not to go. After all, family is more important.

After examining my really really stubborn grandfather (I'll tell you why he's so stubborn later), the doctor said that he had stomach infection. Doctor suspects that my grandfather ate seafood such as clams, cockels, oysters. Shellfish, to be exact.
Hence the doctor asked him but my grandfather denied. My dad just kept quiet because he knows that my grandfather ate it. To be exact, my grandfather ate 2kg of shellfish! ALL BY HIMSELF! D:

And my dad was telling my mom to reprimand my grandfather... WHY?
You know there are those tubes connected to the drips to give the body vitamins & oxygen when you're in the hospital. Did you know, my grandfather un-plugged his?!
What's the point of going to the hospital if you don't use the drips??? D:

He can still say that it's irritating and he doesn't need them... -.-''' And he can still say he's not sick. If he's not sick, then why is he in the bloody hospital?

Sheeesh. Anyway.
On Friday, my mom & I cabbed to the hospital.
The bloody cab driver tried to cheat us!
If I had a gun, I would have shot him & if I had a driver's licencse, I would drive us to the hospital. Sheeeeesh. Even I knew how to get there & by which roads... D:
Our cab fare was $25! D: Bloody hell. My cab fare to Downtown East was $35 & it's all the way at the East okay. This is halfway. $35 is a bit too much.
Oh & the best thing, our cab fare home was only $12. So you can see the difference...



Oh... And so you know that my grandfather is in hospital because of shellfish...

On Saturday morning, I accompanied my mom to the market & I got her to buy me _________. And then she cooked it for me! :D

Heh. You should be pissed.



I am allergic to seafood especially shellfish! So I ate this. And apparently, if I get stomach infection, I don't really care.
