I was in the midst of signing into blogger when all of a sudden my fan & the computer decided to stop working. The computer automatically when dead & the fan just stopped. They died on me just like that. Of course I was confused because I really didnt know what was going on. I mean... One second I was typing my password & the next... The computer & fan went dead.
I was thinking that it could have been a power failure in the house but the lights were on. Plus, the television in the living room was still working. There isn't anything wrong with my eyes too. I know the difference between the lights being on and the lights being off. I am not that dumb you know.
So, after standing around for a about a minute, I decided to fumble and play around with the electric socket. I was just too shocked & I couldn't figure out what the problem was. It didn't occur to me that I might have gotten electrocuted had the socket been faulty.
So I continued playing around with it & suddenly, I felt a jolt of electricity. Being thick-skinned (thank goodness!) I was not really electrocuted but my hair did stand. Somebody's going to KILL me after reading this. That is, if he reads this. Still, I don't really care. Playing with fire = Getting yourself burnt, didn't you know that?
Anyway, after fumbling with it for about 5 minutes. I decided to try and switch on the fan & thank goodness it worked. I was wondering why didn't it start. Chey. Realise I must switch it on. The computer too.
It gave me a scare. Still, will get my dad to check on the socket tmr. I don't want it to suddenly explode in flames or die on me a second time.
Ughh. And I am starting to hate my computer because it is laggy. I need a new one. Oh wait, I'll be getting one next week! :D
Enrolment! :D
I finally realised that I actually do have lots of friends in poly. A bunch of the seniors are there, although I don't really and have never really talked to them. It's more of a I know you & you know me kind of knowing each other. The only time we talked was a Hi? It's just like that. *shrugs*
Oh & H will finally see me around campus. He asked me about a few months ago if I was in his school. Funny question. Haha. Now I'm in RP. Oh, so I have a lookalike now? Cool!
And H is not Hakim and neither is it Hafi. H is... Quite a common name. Heh. I realised I have plenty of friends with H's name. :)
Anyway, I went to the hospital just yesterday to visit my grandfather. He seems much better now. He still scolded the doctor. That was not a surprise.
Anyway, I find it quite peculiar that he could suddenly put on weight. He hasn't eaten anything except fruits in the past 3 weeks. Plus, he's only been drinking water. He put on like about 5kg? That's a lot.
The doctors are going to do a scan to check why he's gaining weight. Other than that, he seems to be getting better. He looks healthy except he can't really walk well. He seems fine.
Oh. And while at the hospital. I learnt something new.
There's this sign on the hospital bed that says what language you speak, the race etc. And I learnt there is a language known as Uncommunicative! Wow.
It means that the patient is probably uncommunicative. So it's pretty cool! :D
It does exist.
And today, I went to my tailor. And she said, I look like I'm from China.
Now China.
What next?
First Japanese, then Korean. Then Hong Kong. Then Japanese again. Then Indonesian. The Japanese. And back to Korean. And now Chinese.
I fail at looking Singaporean.
Why is it so?
My contacts maybe? But contact lenses only do so little. People have been asking me the same old thing even when I wear my glasses.
Do I look like a foreigner to you?
Next time, somebody asks, I'll say... I'm an alien! :D
How awesome is that!
Until my next entry! :D
